Does anyone know where you can buy the standard pulley that comes with the old rope guide. Im really keen to try Drew's poor man rope guide but I just dont have the money for a cocoon at the moment.. :(

Anywhere that sells te cocoon bro. Cover the cotter pin in heat shrink thoughti stop it catching on the rope, hope it works out for you. And hus a bit of tubing/ hose in the eye to keep it open.

Cheers Drew. I still have my reservations though and i know its a PITA to get installed from the ground with a throwline. Guess I will just have to use SRT for access all the time :)

Hey hadleigh, got a friend who's flying back to the uk on dec 28th, I'll give him a cocoon cap to pass on to you-pm your address to me again. I can't remember the price but they are unbreakable.

I think it's a 30cm dyneema sling I've used on the rg xerses. Going to get 6mm globe stitched into short prussics to see if they work an look better though.
