Imagine you are given the chance to re-live your college course again.

Which college would you use to do a standard two year ND?

Because its the local, cheapest or best reputation?

Merrist wood

Sparsholt

Hadlow college

moulton

Myerscough

Or any other?

difficult to answer really, I studied my ND Arb at Houghall College in Durham (which is not on the list), but I also obtained my NPTC's there. Further to that, I believe that on the job experience is essential, and I have also applied to start a Foundation Degree at Myerscough (via the online route)!

I ticked "other"

I put other because i see the apprentiships as a good way to learn. You get to got to college and learn theroy rather than take some old arborists word that topping is fine. Plus you get to work at a couple of companies which give you an insight on how diff outfits work.

Back to Riseholme for me. I didn't do arb there but forestry and conservation and I wouldn't swap those experiences for the world. They were some of the best times of my life and I'd do it all again in a flash.
