I would be expecting the answer to be about 500kg for an unbraked trailer and about 1000kg for a braked trailer.

i wish anyone the best of luck going any distance with a train weight of around 2500 kg!!!!!!!!!!!! they dont tow weight very well at all!!

Years ago my son in law had a wreck of one when he first started out.I met him at his job and dropped some connies for him,not realising that he was going to take them all away.He'd borrowed an enormous bateson trailer and he stacked all this up on it really high.Must have been 2 ton easily.I followed him as a precaution down the lynn bypass doing 30 flat out weaving along on a saturday lunchtime.Luckily he got away with it - happy days.
