Gloves

Hi

 

Was just wondering if anyone could recommend a pair of gloves, that, keep my hands warm n dry, last more than 2 days and have decent grip???

Have you tried the SealSkinz ultra grip gloves? They'd keep your hands dry but not sure about the grip. I use the Towa powergrab thermo ones, keep my hands toasty but the grip goes downhill when wet.

to be honest mate, i think everyone is in the same boat, there isnt relly a glove that stays dry and warm that i no of,, i just by cheap gripper gloves,, they last bout a week

the best builders type gloves are made by marigold and are pretty hard to track down, i think they are about £2/pair, not waterproof but last longer than the cheapies, have good grip and dont get torn off in the prussic as easy:001_smile:

I currently use sealskinz ultra grip gloves.

 

They fit extremely well, which is important to me, and they are warm. They are fully water tight, but if your hands sweat, they hold in water just as well! The grip is good.

 

As working gloves (when it comes to clearing and heavy manual handling) they don't seem to last long at all, and can easily snag. They can be prone to melting on anything hot. When you do finally wear a hole though them they lose their water-tightness, but the holes take a long time to get bigger.

 

Check ebay for second hand pairs and get them at a fraction of the cost... after all they will be destroyed within a few months.

just bought an 2nd hand pair of scuba gloves off flebay,will put them to the test tomorrow-worth a try..

those tegera's are extremely warm. i have one pair that i bring out as and when needed...you do loose some amount of grip ability due to their thickness, but occassionally this is the lesser of 2 evils!
