We have the jets from RAF Kinloss and Lossiemouth fly over our house all the time, never that low though! Its hilarious when the dog starts barking and chasing them into the field. Will miss them when the bases close.

the jets from lossiemouth regularly low fly over my house. a couple of times they have been so low that the leaves in the trees blow around in the slipstream. used to scare the hell out of the dog as well

You know they are low when you can feel the heat of the engines!

They used go over a Quarry in Caithness i used to work in, Ive had them wave to me when ive been higher than them on top of the stockpiles!!!!

Scots, lets see those pics of the plane crashed in the tree again?

i dont live far from RAF pembrey firing range, we have jets flying round all day through the week and recently theyve started doing low flying night exercises with helicopters, its an awesome sight at night to see the tracer bullets ricocheting up into the air from a chinook, but does,nt half spoil your wildfowling.

Just had a look at your website and you live just along the road from where I used to stay near Winewell.

You don't run about in an old desert/tigerstripe looking Land Rover Series do you? Used to see it about all the time and always wondered who's it was.... used to get overtaken by a nutter on a pushbike on my walk to work with two chainsaws hanging ninja style off his back talking to himself too - ring any bells...?

(sorry for thread derail!)

Ive often wondered about that Landie as well, I remember seeing it parked outside Wetherspoons with the top down and the saws in the back.

And wondering how it was ever going to make it round some corners without ending up on its side. Driven like its stolen lol
