Your question prompted me to download the "forest tools tree height app" and i'll shall be trying it out on the plane very soon..as soon as i get off Eel pie island where i am taking photos at the moment:)

......Eel pie is much bigger and round the other side. It,s has a boatyard,rowing club residents (including the man who invented the wind up radio and several artists workshops...it,s an amazing place...anyhoo back to the tree...i,ve installed "Forest tools tree measurer" Which is complicated to use so next app i got was "X Clinometer" which is just a digital spirit level and compass/gradient device...but best app i got is "Smart measure"...it measured it at 144 feet...but i have hearedd of one in Hampshire that is 170 feet tall....still it is a very tall Plane.

Yes Mark...i reckoned about 125....ish.. That,s the first time i have used it and need to practice the setting up..but like Rob says it,s a good bit of measuring device once sussed..:thumbup:
