The road was closed for two days for us to do the job, we had left timber in the road overnight and when we came back this morning a car had come past the road closed signs and hit the timber!:scared:

Wow! Can they sue ya'll?

No,totally his fault. He followed a farmer who lived in the closure, past the barriers and signs, the farmer turned into his farm and this muppet put his foot down and hit the timber. The closure was not our responsibility it was put on by the council.

More to the point, can you sue them for damaging your valuable timber?

Whereabouts is that job? Looks vaguely familiar.

Between Blacko and Gisburn Lancs.

Its classed as one of the most dangerous roads in the uk,that tree has claimed the lives of a few bikers and car drivers, thats why its gone.I blame the motorists not the road or the tree, but what do I know I'm only a choppyloggy.

deadwooding a big oak so a group could build a massive tree house in it for the local kiddies, only thing is they built the thing before realising there was three 15 to 20 ft peices of solid dead wood in it
