Reduction of a cherry that was too big for it's location, completely dominates the small garden behind the wall. Awkward as heck to move around in too. Still got a lot to learn! :001_smile:

 

No before pic, doh! 1st pic is part way through the job, 2nd is the end result.

great pics. what do you think the long term prospects are for that stunning oak, i cant see those roads and paths being relocated for her to depart naturaly. ibet it looks magnificent in leaf. awsome stump.

 

Well hopefully the prospects for the tree are good. Fortunately council is real keen to keep it unless it starts to die back majorly or the split widens significantly. They are talking about carrying out some more bracing to stabilize it and the cracks are being monitored.
