Ash Dismantle 4/5th Jan. Rigged everything out over the buildings, flopped a bit of the other stuff.

Tree coated in dead ivy, the reason for removal was due to the tree damaging the footings of the church community hall.

couple of pics from last week. Reducing a previously storm damaged mature beech. The tree had lost a third of the crown about 5 years ago. Had been reduced to make safe. Our job was to remove end weight off a number of specific limbs/stems. then tickle the rest to try and give a bit more of a shape. Nice Job, done from a 34 metre tracked mewp. Plus a bit of climbing from Dee (Dbarry) 'cos the platform couldn't reach. Job in an 11th century graveyard.

Tidy Rich. I bet its really nice working for lots of different company's.

I like / prefer it that way. never know what is next... meaning I don't think about it haha. Just turn up and get on with the job. it also provides a nice variety of jobs and as we all know 'variety is the spice of life' :sneaky2:

cheers APbell. got a load more pics of the churchyard job but it is on the groundies camera. might start a picture thread with them if there are any good ones. the tree was mighty impressive approx 2metre dbh. maybe a bit bigger and the cuts at the top from the storm work were pushing 6-8 inches. Big OLD tree. plus nice to work in an 11th century graveyard.
