really really nice reductions hamadryad, lovely natural target pruning, i wish to reduce as well as you someday, ive had some shockers. ;)

 

Show you how if you get a weekend job you want a hand on, bout time I got others at it before i finaly drop off the climbing circuit! im an old man in tree terms now!

 

Still run around a full mature oak reduction by lunchtime though!

well spotted. i think we are going back there to do exactly that. it was done around 8 years ago by the look of the new growth.

 

he wanted to keep some height on the laylandii to obscure the view of the neighbouring mental hospital :001_smile:

ive only been climbing about a year, ive done lowering and topping big conifers and stuff, i just finished my apprenticeship, and ive come out of that with cs 30 31 and 38, pa1 and pa6 and an nvq level 2 in trees and timber, all for free which is good, my boss is giving me more days climbing now and sends me out on my own with a groundy, so i cant be that bad, i would love to learn more, do you go to any of the arb shows? i will be at the capel manor show next year and the fr jones and son show.
