Nice pics callum,good stuff for climbing to the top of that dougiue,had to be done!

hay atree ow yes was crying out to be climbed lol was using vt hitch climber with a sling for bridge really enjoying the set up :001_smile:

A massive Beech in Worsley 29m it was covered in heavy ivy, stripped the ivy to carry out aerial inspection and picus at base and intervals up the stem....

 

Crackintree and prob one of the tallest beech in north manchester :biggrin:

We have just inspected all the trees on leigh rd and they are being worked on next week (opposite to marriot golf club) .... Looking at Marriott trees next week on w=leigh rd boundary, they are monster with historic failure over the rd, really scary trees cant understand how they are still there :confused1:

What was the Picus looking at, progression of one pathogen or multi? Anything inparticular?
