Some nice delicate pruning for a change. This one even had leaves on it when i finished:001_tt1:

 

It's a variagated beech. The roots had been cooked when a new tarmac drive was installed causind some harsh die-back. However it is in good vigour so it's canopy recovered very well, many of the seemingly dead branches recovered, flushing with new leaf. So a nice symathetic crown clean was the way forward, including the removal of any reverted growth. Nice climbing despite it been really slippy towards the end

Same here have the usual truck chipper combo but do like the hassel free climbing for other companies.

 

You guys get alot better trees to climb up north than down south our big ones are all but gone now.

What do you reckon its worth? The first section was about 24" dia up to about 6 feet, and then there were another four or five nice straight sections between 8-12" and 8-14 feet long.
