Thats the one, but some times if its a really whippy one I like to let the hinge hold till it bends the stem well over and then cut and enjoy the ride :001_tt1:

Great to see the pictures from Romania Marc, I spent six months out there when I was younger most of that was out in the sticks in North east Romania, it was like going back in time, horse and carts, sleds in the winter, chopping firewood by hand.

 

Maybe the low accident rate in their forestry is a result of not being under constant pressure to produce?

 

That and the plum brandy for breakfast.

todays job was a maple that breaking apart by included bark unions that were opening and closing due to very windy conditions it was a long time since i have been that worried about my anchor point failing
