How long do you envisage the entire reduc will take Steve?

 

Interested, as I'm keen to compare your 15 - 20% man hours to the Fracture Prune we carried out to the Fulham Oak which looks to be of similar size, and took us approx 4 days. :cheers:

 

Do you do alot of fracture pruning, we do a fair bit, how do you find it? i find i do best when i dont try to focus on it too much......

Not a lot to be honest Chris, been doing bits and pieces since having TreeWorks Environmental Practice in for training about 5/6 years ago.

I think this may change over the coming year though.

Going to post additional pictures of the Fulham Oak to show regrowth along the fractures later this year.

BTW thanks for the info Steve, will use to help justify my time on this type of work to the purse holders. :icon14:

Who'd want a garden full of sitkas? We had to rigg the biggest one off the one on the right, there are 3 sheds, a fence and a wall right under it. Having seen the Hobbs review and video I think it could have been real handy.
