I bet having a top that size sit back got the adrenalin going!!

 

Yeah its not the best place to be, lol. The whole tree is so wobbly when its dead like that also. Least I had the sense to get a wedge in the kerf before I cut too far:001_smile:

Theres a fair few yew trees on this estate David along with hundreds of meters of formal yew hedging. I'm due to go butcher a few more next year so I will have a look when i'm there
