you dont see many houses like that in nz but i suppose it is ch ch,very english.why is the gum coming down???

 

 

no,although there is afew big old mansion's, the gum was over 45m (about 100yr old) all of the tree were protected so we were just deadwood removing epicormics.was nice and cool working in the trees but was hot outof them (sorry not rubbing it in)

I'd just cut it up with a chainsaw and then grind the stump out.

we try and avoid doing that whenever possible-after reading the HAVS thread im glad we operate like that. Rather than having guys logging the stem up (we dont sell the wood, it just gets given away), we will get a hiab in and get the guys earning by pruning. well thats the plan:001_cool:

An elm we reduced by 20% this morning first one of any size (i know its not massive!)ive had the privalage to reduce,nice tree to work on loads of targets for reducing and very easy to climb!
