Anyway, must not deviate from thread - so.....

 

SWB - How come you lay the brash under the tree when you fell it (must make clearing-up a pain with a big tree lay on top of it all). Why not a thick hinge and a nice open sink-cut? (Can you tell I'm trying to make relevant conversation)

you will notice how the brash is for the stem and further up i used the "light-heavy" to take the thumpity bounce. oh and i wasnt chipping, so let the gardeners dig it out:001_tongue:

They were rain over here, they didn't last long. Thats Andrew in the tree BTW. It was pretty windy, I got a laugh sending Andrew up a 45 foot single stemmed euc that was only 8" at the base, he was tied in to a neighbouring tree, I'd have video'd it if I could have he was blown all over the place.
