agreed, tax credits are a total waste of time. They paid us a wad of money, then told us we'd been over paid and we've been paying it back ever since..another Labour paper chasing exercise

I only pay the legal minimum, so I will not get the state pension.

I also have a private pension, but have no intention of retiring.

i did not know that huck!! how much are you supose to pay to recieve a state pension?

so what would happen in the retiring situation the state would give you nothing?.

I think your all getting lost up your own @rses !!

The social system is in place for those that need it.

The greivance EVERYONE has is it paying out to those lazy bone idle gits that have no intention of working or ever working and no intention of ever paying back into it

To summerise:

It is there for those that need it not there for those that dont

You dont get Working Tax Credits if you sitting at home on your arse, Mick was attacking the Tax Credits, I have already said I agree on the lazy beggars doing f all should get f all. Anyway its Friday night, and I'm done for the week, feet up and beer oclock, happy days.

Nowadays people expect to be nannied by the state, they think it s their right to be looked after. The slightest bit of hardship they expect to be baled out or subsidised by everyone else.

I had an extremely hard and underpriveleged upbringing, with no support from the social. You only used to get support when you were homeless or jobless.

My mother brought us up on her own due to constant domestic violence and hospitalisation from my abusive father. She had to hold down two jobs and go to the butchers for bits of meat and roll ends "for the dog" to help feed us. We could only afford to have one bath a week and thats when the electric was on. We got teased and bullied at school because we wore cheap clothes and shoes

Nowadays people who claim tax credits can still:

Afford Mc'Ds for their kids.

Have play stations, fancy computors and sky tv for their kids

Have a holiday abroad for their kids

Go to the cinema with their kids

Tax credit is a load of bollox in the majority of cases. The majority who claim it dont know what hard times are
