So should I start calling my Barrow bags Cubic Barrow bags

Continuing the head banging theme, a guy local to me is advertising....

 

"1 tonne bag of logs for £35."

 

Maybe he has a HUGE bag filled with a tonne of wet oak or instead, a lead lined bag weighing a tonne with a few pieces of dry leylandii inside?

The estate sell their firewood by the two cubic metre tipping trailer for £135 plus delivery. I keep saying to them that they could up that a bit, as it's flying out at the moment (5 loads yesterday).

 

If it's going to be a hard winter again, there aren't going to be too many suppliers with timber left come February. Might as well sell it at a better price - if you have some left, you'll seem cheap regardless.

assuming that is hardwood, what would the total cost be if delivering 15 miles from base?

thers to much work in f/w to be selling it cheap ,if its good stuff its worth its brass all day long ,let the numtys flog the balls off for a cheap buck & stick to are prices ,coz when ther timber dry ,ther customrs will come to us :biggrin:if that makes sence @ this time of nite:laugh1:
