How much would it cost to have a tipping chipbox put on a flatbed U1300L. It would have to be an electric tipper I think cos it's a basic spec mog with no hydraulics, pto or linkage.

Very expensive, far cheaper to buy a Mog with exactly what you want on it from day one.

Autolift quoted me just under 5k for much larger version of their Land Rover tipper conversion for the back of a U100L

It is possible to fit a hydralic pump to the top of the gear box.It bolts straight on,you'd have to fit a tank and the valves but its possible.I had a look at a U1850 that a guy is fitting a tipper to,a normal tipping body not the "X" frame type.I can ask him what is going to cost all up.I know the hydralic motor is a high capacity type as the mog had a crane on it before.

The back is not far off the size of a transit tipper body.

There is plenty of room inside the chassis rails for the oil tank,you could stand the deck off a bit to fit the valves out of the way?Or mount them on the side of the tank?

 

Somthing to think about anyway.It might be nice to have it side tipping,then you wouldn't have to unhook the chipper.

You could just fit a transit body and tipping gear, if its a long wheel base mog, which a 1300L is.

Something i would recomend also- you may want to do future modifications towards ag spec and it makes sense doing it right the first time
