hi guys, anybody know of any timberwolf tarps or covers to keep the rain off when not working as have no garage to store it in and when i start it 20 letres of water fires out the shoot

cheers

I would guess a car cover would be best, but I am quite worried about the security of your machine too, if it's outside. Anyhow these letres, are they french by any chance?

I asked the timberwolf chaps on here why they didnt seal it so it stops the water from getting in etc etc and a slightly sarky reply stated the large funnel at the back end lets the rain get in!!! I find winding the jockey wheel as high as it goes stops the problem.

i had a hinge welded on the bottom of the chute on my vermeer. folds over & fits in a garge now without arsing around taking the whole thing on & off.

also makes it a lot easier to throw a tarp over with the loch ness monsters head sticking up in the air!

when i used to store it outside in my old place i had a tarp with rope through the eyelets which i pulled tight to wrap around the bottom of the chipper to stop it flying off.

Heavy duty car cover from Halfords, about £50. Webbing straps clip under the body to hold it in place. The spout has to be taken off every time, and lies over the wheel arch.

They are not that difficult to break into, mind...
