Odd bird - sorry to ask but are you a female (lol)

If so, try Lantra's Women at Work for funding too!

Not sure when the next round of funding starts but get your name on the waiting list as it is very popular

I think Train to Gain used to fund these type of courses - but it no longer exists following the funding cuts.........

I am am, yes  Hi!

I looked into Lantra but it's all too complicated..you kind of have to pay the full amount yourself and then they 'might' give you some of the money back:sneaky2:

Nevermind, I've got 80% off my training for CS30/31 and the First Aid @ Work :thumbup:Only just found out..hoping to do the courses sometime in January. Just the right weather as well!

Just received a brochure form the college..It would be £820 with them. Is that OK? :confused1: Lantra course would only be £500..I'm not getting how it works..:blushing::confused1:

The Lantra course would be ITA and trees only up to 8 inches,

then if you want to go further you would have to do the Lantra registered course for NPTC units, Trees up to 15 inches, lantra are registered training courses NPTC are registered assessments,

Depending on your age you may get funding in different areas,

We charge £503 for training and Lantra registration, + Assessment fee and VAT.

Lantra courses give you assurance of quality.

It is advised to complete training be for an NPTC assessment but not a requirement. Stated on assessment shedule

TBH i cannot remember, it was 14 years ago. It was under £300 though i think. I did hear that funding was stopped last year though, and that courses had shot up in price as a result.

Same; Uni paid for mine and it cost £265 for 30,31,32 as it is now (was three modules then) 35 EQ and winching. Did clearing saw which doesn't exist anymore (not eq to brushcutter) and Chipper was barely conceived! Them were the days; Tim Bendle was my Instructor via Hartpury College. Cost now I think is innaccessible for some. I have a chap who I would put thru 30 and 31 tommorow if it was around the £500 mark.
