i don't know why you boys don't get down to your local farms and ask the farmers for used fertilizer bags and especially the seed potatoe bags that hold over a ton in weight and are vented most farms just burn them or bin them

Posted

600 Kg fertiliser bags are not reusable but 1/2 tonne cattle feed bags are great - just like builders bags only taller.

Posted

used one ton potatoe boxes free from local farmer just need a few boards, box tipper to empty and you can stack them eight high and you only need to cover the top box for rain perfect boys

Posted

if you want potatoe boxes ,call a local potatoe merchant like mason bros brought 20 last year for a tenner each! as for fertilizer bags fill them and sell them let the costomer do the recycling for you they end up in the council tip anyway.

Potatoe boxes would be ideal but I have never seen any for less than £50 ea around here or on ebay.

That will be the really big ones ... I have been after the smaller ones that hold about 1.2 cube for ages.

i know some one with 90 odd orchard boxes currently doing nothing that already have had panels removed for firewood drying but there sat out side
