10.5 ton Robert, I have a big 20 ton tractor mounted thor splitter so I am down grading, the problem with the tractor mount is if you are splitting away from the shed, you have the tractor tied up so have to hand ball to the shed

 

My idea it to split into the tractor bucket and then I can empty straight onto the top of the log pile when its full instead of throwing them on

 

Looks like my big thor is going on ebay :001_smile:

 

I use a tractor mount thor 18 ton, I drop the bucket off onto a simple timber frame so it's tilted back, back tractor upto bucket fill it up and pick the bucket up and tip, works a treat but only any good if you have quick hitch bucket. :thumbup:

what make is that one Dean? I am in the market at the moment as well due to change of yard.

No quick hitch, but the next tractor I get will have, you learn as you go on :thumbup1:
