Was checking out the above with the kids, for ideas of things to do yesterday - (pond dipping & woodland Parkour it was then)

got to see the "Deadly Sixty" presenter Steve Backshall climbing & staying over night, in the UKs tallest London Plane (51m in Dorset)

Some decent (though a little short) climbing footage.

Starts @ 36.30 mins.......

BBC iPlayer - Live 'n' Deadly: Martin Mere

It's ok Monkey, you're amongst friends here. You don't have to pretend you were only watching CBBC for the kid's sake :sneaky2:

Well I have to get me moneys worth from aunties extortionate lisence fee someplace.

& Deadly Sixty is........... uber cool :001_cool:

Anyhows, shouldn't you be over the Beeches with the Hama hunting some

Fung?

... And miss chatting with you? :001_tongue:

I have checked the Met Office 'site and as I seem to have misplaced my Ark, I'm being a soft southern girlie and staying well away from the outdoors today. I'm nowhere near The Hama's level of obsessiveness when it comes to getting wet in the search for fungi!

I'll be watching "Deadly 60" instead - and I have to admit, it's one of my guilty pleasures and I try to watch it when it's on... :blushing:

i just watched it with a 3 year old... I have now promised him we will camp in a tree one day when he is older.

Cheers David.

I did that as well Rich, not quite sure what I've let myself in for :001_rolleyes:
