I have a dremel attachment, that has and angle guide and different size stones for different pitch chains - its still in the box unused though as i prefer to sharpen by hand

I too have a dremel attachment. Shattered one of the stones by catching it funny onthe chain. They are a good cheaper alternative but I don't think they are as aggressive as the bench mounted grinder

i use the sawtune from Rob D Alaskan Mill, really good if you have a lot of teeth to sharpen, also with the back stop all the teeth are ground to the same length and the right angle. plus its 12v so you can use it in the field.

From the research I have done if your wood processor bar jams half way or you cutting banana shapes its probably because the teeth have been sharpened differently one side to the other. Because we are left or right handed there is bound to be a difference. The grinder is ideal for addressing this problem just dont take to much off in one go as you will case harden the chain then hand sharpening will be very difficult.

grinder also good, if like me, you sharpen a dozen chains or more at one sitting. however a careful hand sharpen is hard to beat if you can adjust for the handedness issue steve mentioned
