Just a few pics from a weeks riding in the Carpathian mountains. One of the most beautiful places I've visited. Millions of acres of ancient beech pollards. Just a shame I didn't have more time to explore.

i was expecting to see a horse mate lol. That looks amazing, how did you manage that trip? was it an organised event with their bikes or did you just head off into the sun set?

We used the services of a guide and his bikes rather than take our own. Through the villages kids came running to wave. Farmers waved. Everyone led simple lives yet seemed happy and content.

Saw the romamiacs enduro on sky the other day awesome !! total scenery, great team work, waterfalls, mountains huge forests they said it was a 165 mile lap.

 

Were you in that ?

 

I know a dealer in the UK who bought a place in Romania about 10 yrs ago, he paid £45,000 for about 300 acres and a farm house,barn and buildings.

Romaniacs! I wish. That enduro is designed to obliterate both rider and bike.

 

The scenery is awsome with wolves and bears thrown in too. Probably some great places to buy.

i LOVE the sound of a 4 stroke enduro, i had a honda 450 for a month to play on, the sound was amazing ripping up forest tracks, but then i came off and done in 2 ribs. Now i know why guys wear body armour.
