i have used a old fly fishing multiplier reel with 30 meters of throw line and bag clipped to my harness in the past saves a lot of hassle whilst your climbing.

its always handy to drop it down for the groundy to send up the flask haha

I'd like something you can run lowering line through to get all the twists out of it, after its been used on a friction device a few times.

Errrrm, wrap it the other way round the capstain for a few times:confused1:

Unless you used the rope an equal amount in the opposite wrap, you'd still have the twist in the rope or just twists in the in the opposite way.

Also, I use a Hobbs which you can only wrap clockwise, so you can't wrap it the other way.

My groundy came up with an idea of a small combi can just for the 200t whereby it spouts are spaced just right and fills both the oil and the fuel at once.

My idea of the day ( don't know if there is already one there) was a retractable hi vis barrier tape, where you can just reel it out and back in as required, bit like a logging tape
