There's a guy round us doing the builders dumpies (0.76) @ £25 each delivered - all hardwood and all reasonably seasoned. All the time he's doing that there's no point bothering.

The Estate I used to work on have just got an agent involved in running the woods department and their logs have now trebled in price but still only work out around £75 for a level hilux load delivered, but the quality is often dubious.

Round us a lot of people still seem to want it cheap and will burn owt - I used to leave them to it and concentrate on the ones that appreciated a decent log and would pay for it.

I'd say at £25 a bag i'd buy all you can supply!! If it's that good you'll easily be able to make £20 a bag so for doing nothing to the wood asides from delivering you can make money!! Simples

I'me taking a few loads out tomorrow at £80 a cube, wont let it go for less,if they want my dry wood they have to pay for it. Ime not breaking my back just to give it away.

Its also very early in the season and we are sending out huge amounts. Energy prices are increasing again. Should be good in January.

im selling it for £55 pounds for builders bag which i measured at .55m3, so it works out at £100 per m3 does that sounds about right?

Sounds good to me. I think you need £100 a cube to call it a living especially if you buy the wood in.
