Out of interest, b101, how much did you sell it for? I'm trying to put a value on mine, which is a 1987 ex army n/as diesel, fair condition.

I paid £4750 with VAT in 1990 when it was 5 years old (ex NRA)

I sold it in Jan for £800 to a friend who needed one with the proviso I have 1st refusal if he sells it @ £800 ;) I did I because I hadn’t used it on-road for 18 months, I know I could have got a lot more for it but that was not the point.

you should be able to get ~£1500 to £1750 for yours, it just depends if someone is looking at the time.

Here's mine - it's going to be up for sale very soon too either as is or with the body chopped off ready for a tipper - pm me if anyone's interested in it.

Haven't got any pictures of the 110 yet, it's still sat in the sawmill yard at work until I've room at home

The winch is home made. The old boy in the picture built it , he got the drum from the RAF. It was used for pulling large aircraft off runways when their under carriages had failed I think! He put a 300-1 reduction box on it,mounted it on a frame and put a massive set of spades on .It's very slow but wont stop at anything .Biggest problem is getting the rope up the tree ,you get to 40 ft up and a 1" rope is blooming heavy! He has plans to build a more powerfull one (i dont know why)and mount it on a driven trailer.
