look at it this way,, if you were knocking somewhere off and you were confronted with two containers,, one with a shiny new proper F OFF lock and the other with a rusty old squire,,,, which one would you go for??

 

You haven't read the thread. I don't remember saying anything about untidy. I have black wrought iron gates with gold trims mate. I have a key fob that's opens them automatically not a rusty old bit of chain with a hard to open squire lock on it.

just been offered part of a large barn for £4 sq ft yr. can choose how much of it i want so was thinking of putting the chipper, saws, ropes etc in it so think about 10x20 should be enough for me, might get a bit of a workbench in there too, reckon it's a steal!!

i DID read the thread,, i wasn't saying you WERE untidy,, was making a point,,, that if it doesn't look like it's got £££'s worth of kit inside then maybe less likely to try it on,, going back to my comment of shiny big padlock and rusty old squire...
