Lovely Frank!!! Is that a bit of metal stain I see between the hinge and the left hand wedge and what tractor is towing the trailer, could it be a fergie or dexter, maybe a 35??

Just spotted the pull line, sissy!!!!:)

Now, now. You say sissy, but what you dont realise is that the pull line was attached to a grappling hook that I tossed into the back of a bus as it drove past on the main road. 30 secs after that photo was taken all hell broke loose as 3ton of oak log was dragged up the high street and through a busy market place. Haha.

Tractor was actually a little Kubota. :thumbup1:

Thought i would try my luck on this thread, feel free to criticise, i'll take it on board :thumbup1:.

The top two are my skinny hinges from today, both maples. Top one is roughly 25" and bottom is 16".

I've added button1803's 28" beech (with a fairly heavy lean towards felling direction) from the other day as it was on me phone, which is at the bottom.

james, have you done your cs32? it is worth it to get to know all the cuts with a 15" saw.

Naah not yet, just 30 and 31. I fancy doing it but I'm short of time at the moment because of my A levels. Any idea how much they cost?

About 38" thick oak done with 460 with 20" bar. Not the best but not bad either, even if i do say so myself:001_tt2:

Reason the gob was so big was that it was a pole and not the whole tree, before i get a ribbing for it:sneaky2:
