although this was a very small conifer i was impressed that my hinge was of such a standard that after snedding, the stem sprang up to stand almost upright again. i was also able to walk along to the end of the stem tight-rope style.

First tree of the day, and i think that i have managed to do everything that it is possible to do wrong. Please do not feel that you have to hold back with the abuse, i know that it is appaling

I was using a 066, they don't come much bigger !!

 

How big was the bar as the tree don't look that big because of the axe but my eyes and scale could be well off:blushing:
