Trying mate! Its that time of year. Going out freelance, the treewisemen has been sold out to Bartlett.

 

WOW good for him, I guess thats what they call an "exit strategy" :thumbup1:

Its a fresh start for all of us. Things at the end were a bit crazy, pricing just to get the job. Anyway what an experience it was. Did some crazy trees in the last years :) Im working in Brooklyn here and there and the money is better and the trees aren't big

Its funny but the money is never in the big trees, it should be, but its not :confused1:

I think its because the punter gets lots of quotes due to it being a big job, whereas with smaller jobs they often just go with the first quote if its reasonable.

Yep and the one who gets the big job has usually underpriced it 👎 definitely more money in the smaller trees.

True comment Dave, and some people seem to price big trees for silly money just for the glory and the kudos.

I speak from experience here, realising I've made about £75 profit after 3 days of nerve-shredding toil whilst driving home with the final load of 8m3 of dust and rakings.

I don't know, I seem to make great money on big trees. I'm never the cheapest but I'm done in half the time.

 

Just can seem to win many small jobs as that's what everyone wants to win my way.
