a few pictures from our week and for once we took a camera (although no great quality). You might need to turn your computer to look at most of them:thumbup:

Heres a bit about the jobs

first is a big dougy that had been struck by lightning some time ago

second a big larch with basal decay both near to a road. we stripped the front off both trees so that all of the branches didnt bury in the ground and then felled them.

the third is a big dougy over a block of garages, nothing big could be dropped due to gas pipes about 10 inches underground near to the base of the tree. we used the large cedar next to the dougy for a second rigging point. and then a hiab lorry to dismantle the stem and clear the large logs.

and the forth a large oak with basal damage and decay over a minor road rigged back from power lines.

i love trees but i love to fell them tooooooooooo......... :lol:
