Yet another Haix problem!!!

hiya chaps , roughly 6 months ago i bought a pair of Haix Protector Extreme's and guess what ???? the soles have started to fall off , the bonded rubber tha joins the upper leather to the sole is splitting and from day one the log walking spikes in the soles of the boots would not come out . so i speak to WorkWear and i get asked to send them an email with all the info about the boots with pics and they MAY be able to do something about the problems .

 

Are any of you guys having the same problem with these boots and ave any of you guys lost faith in these boots ? unless i recieve a new pair i do not think i will be having another haix product again :thumbdown:

Had haix for years- NEVER had a problem yet.

Strange that, Ive had Haix for a good few years now and they have been GREAT, My current Trekkers are 14 month old and apart from looking abit tatty are still fully waterproof and comfy as a comfy thing!!

 

 

I was looking at getting the extremes as my next boots, So ill keep an eye on this thread, Although after 6 month, you do have to expect some wear on them mate!!

out of the last 4 pairs i have bought i have had to send 3 pairs back now , only two pairs were worn by me , the other pair were for a member of staff . As for you tommer i guess you must have had a decent pair

my haix protector light boots were completely ruined in 8-9 months, soles fell off, leather split, laces going, however i do give them serious stick and they are extremely comfy so i have ordered a new pair. Better the devil you know!

i totally agree but the soles should not be comming appart from the upper section of the boot , this is not only happening in one area of the sole but comming appart from both sides , the front and back of the boot .

I can only comment on the protector pros. I have had one pair that the sole came away from the upper for about 2", but didnt affect the performance of them one bit.

Very true mate, I wonder i they had a bad batch of soles?? Ive heard it mentioned before on here, I think it was Caddy who ive worked with a few times that had the same problem abit back

I had the brown ones Nubuck leather I think . They were great and lasted two years . Then I changed to the cheaper blue ridge version . They lasted 6 months . I have gone back to the cheaper Jallette forest boots as they last me about 14 months

My current hiax have lasted over 3 years, still going strong, just about anyways. Had them so long ive forgotten which ones they are lol
