Did you do any work to the Engine mate?

They really Roar with and Exhaust mod.

 

No mate, it's still being run in after the new piston and rings and polishing the damage out of the pot, the exhaust has been de-baffled though and yes they do Roar!!

I opened up the Exhaust port on one and ripped the Baffles out,welded the original port shut and like you cut another.

 

It vibrated the heat sheild off the front of the engine and the Chain Break melted and fell off.So I replaced it with sections cut and bent to stand it off the Muffler.

 

Then it got Stolen.

 

Give your 066 the treatment.It will pull a 36" Bar like a 24".

hi all,

 

i've got an old 044 which i fancy 'tarting' up.

 

is there owt on the web that'll give me an idea of where to start.

 

if anyone knows of a haynes manual for modding saws that'd be great...lol
