new for old or don't bother!.....also plenty of firms working around here with height restriction...this is landscapers insurance!. You deffo get what you pay for...

Why not new for old? I have it on my 3 year old chipper, I have had it from new and it's probably worth 11 grand, if it's stolen I get the replacement value of a new one, why is that not worth it?

A couple of years ago I needed some reading material when taking a dump, so grabbed my renewal quote from NFU and read the small print. They had slipped in 6m height restriction. I have never had a claim. I rang them to complain and they said 'the underwriter wouldn't like it' if I wanted any more.

Goodbye NFU, Hello Arbinsure (now Arborisk), who have been very efficient and a pleasure to deal with.

Good job I can't go for a dump without some reading material.

Anyone still with NFU, I bet you haven't got cover for doing proper tree work.

Forgot the 'claim' bit.

I really can't say anything good about NFU, I have given them umpteen chances to give me quotes etc and they never even got back to me.

We were always happy with them, untill they quoted us silly. They still do our trucks but that may change. It was nice to have a local office to call and a named advisor. They paid out when the saws were knicked too.
