Spikes and RW with adjustable cambium saver has made big take downs on a stem much easier .

Hi all, I have started a new job and have been given a 11mm Yale blaze to climb on, (I am used to climbing on 13mm xtc) my first decent on the blaze I melted the 9mm prussik a fair bit!

 

My question is what friction device/hitch/cord suits the 11mm blaze the best.

I climb in Blaze. Tough rope, took a fair bit of milking from new and occasionally pig tails a bit but otherwise good.

 

By 9mm I take it you're climbing on Boa. It's a basic cord with low heat resistance.

 

Get some 8mm ArmorPrus (I rang Nod at Treeworker for mine) or some HRC from Honeys. 8mm cord works really well on 11mm line with a Hitchclimber, if you haven't got one.
