A day in the life of tree folk

my day was good, up and out for breaky by 8.30am then got the shopping done and back home for a laze about. Goof thread, it's nice to tell someone how my day was:biggrin:

This is true, but I would have called it

 

"how was your day"

Got up, looked at a job, painted the walls in my new extension, looked at another job, had a guy come look at our car for sale, made thai curry for tea, now watching antiques road show.

on friday, felled a small dead cherry and replanted with another cherry. the weird part was the customer had booked in a separate tree team to do the back garden (connie hedge reduction), another gardener to do some weeding/ maintenance, another firm to do some turfing, another separate guy to do some paving and remove brash and yet another to grind out a stump. yikes!

 

all of these different co's booked in on the same day when one could have probably done it all on their own.

Clan came back from Church mid morning, then all went for a fine 3 mile country stroll, took the camera, shot one sad little fung, then ended in pub for a sunday feast & cold beers.
