ok seriously, any 2stroke engine runs on 50.1 thats 100mls of oil to 5litres of petrol.

 

older machines are generally made for 25.1, but can run on either.

new 2mix and 4mix engines run on 50.1, but its reccommended to use a higher grade oil like stihl hp or ultra.

 

or better still, get some pre-mixed aspen.

no joke tommer. just was lookin on other sites someone was usin 25=1. i use a syringe to get the 100ml per 5 litres but as the size of the engine was going to maybe put a little extra in just to be safe.

You won't be safe.

 

Just put the correct amount in. :001_smile:

 

If you put more oil in, the total mix will be leaner of petrol.

 

Therefore you will have to richen your carb and have separate fuel for that saw.
