Heras fencing

I have just bought a load of Heras fencing with the idea of forming cubes to put logs in to season. Has anyone tried this and if so do you find that the logs in the centre do dry? A four panel square will hold 25 cube so it seems a nice space saving handy method for seasoning.... I hope :confused1:

pallets on the floor, if you can get the feet for them thats even better, a stab in the middle is needed to hold the sides in, cover with plastic and throw some tyres on it to hold it all down. Go and see a farmer for this, they have piles of it and loads of tyres, and if they are going big bales like a lot then they cant give it away lol. You will get easy 60 bulk bags out a bay, the corners of the bays can be a bit damp if you have 3 together as the plastic is hard to get right down and the rain has to go somewhere.

good idea guys i stack logs in one ton potatoe boxes easy stacked and free from farmers once they are a bit weak or broken spars even better for ventilation

I have been trying to get hold of some crates to stack in a barn that I am building but cant find any locally.

Corrugated roof sheets would be best to cover them or thick rubber pond liner with scaffold boards laid across to stop it drooping in the middle

You could even setup a scaffold framed tube across the middle of a run of them so it raised the middle up slightly like a tent so water ran off ?

I was going to mound the logs in the middle and put a tarp on.
