I love the valley cloud in the panoramic Nick, we get that here when conditions are right.

You would think france would be warmer than the uk in winter but last year when we had our cold spell, I flew off skiing and remember the south of england was free of snow but yet over the channel every single square foot of france nearly all the way down to Chamberry was covered in snow

Wouldn't change we live short of a lottery win! Live on a country estate just outside Edinburgh - this is our back garden and view:

The estate itself is about 2000 acres with about 20 houses on it. Very peaceful and secluded, even with the occasional tourist and walker.

I've posted pics of the veiw from my house I know but sometimes you forget just what view you have because you see it every day. Four different views from around the house.

It is Windy most of the time though, hence the house is called "Windy Ridge" thats the only downside

Your so right Dean, I dont appreciate the view from our front room (photo's below), my girlfriend says it is a little noisy but I always tell her ... " it could be worse we could be in Brighouse" :sneaky2:

i would love a view of big, rolling hills or the sea, but as far as urban views go, this is the one for me!
