Ive just watched The Cove... The Cove Movie: Welcome

Some of the other threads have actually been quite funny, but this is a bit too extreme IMO.

Just want to bring it to peoples attention. I for one have signed their petition to get dolphin slaughter stopped in Japan. If you get a chance watch the film, if not check the youtube video.

In my younger days I was always looking at animal cruelty and wondering how i could alter the situation and make a difference.

Then one day i saw a video of foxes being skinned alive for fir in asia somewhere, It scarred me so badly that i can no longer consider the witnesing of another cruel slaughter.

I know the situation with the dolphins well, and the walrus etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc etc...........

lets not have another cruelty thread, it makes me sick, and there will always be cruelty and NOTHING we can do will change it, it is the human race that wants sorting out.

you obviously havent watched the film lee...

i think before you comment on this video you REALLY should watch this film, i saw this when it first came out and to be honest wether the dolphins are endangered or not is COMPLETELY irrelevant, the way they are killed is a death not fit for your worst enemy...

it is truly a remarkable film

Yeah I watched it as well. They slaughter the dolphins for there meat knowing that the meat if full of mercury, so they are giving people mercury poisoning.

The wife had to go to bed as it up set her so much.

Here's a interesting fact about dolphins.

Dolphins rape and murder within their societies, one of the few animals besides humans to do so.

I've only seen extracts so far, but to me the question is a bit tangential. Imho killing and culling is fine if necessary; this is not.

Currently I'm a little annoyed by the lack of info on how to kill squirrels properly once they've been trapped; the information isn't available for householders to take action competently, hence cages dropped in water butts (we used to do that 15 years ago) and potshots being taken at squirrels in trees by people who don't know better.

Very tempted to make a 60 second vid about how to do it for howtokillasquirrel.com; I need to check that I'd be safe legally, though.
