Man fined for drowning squirrel - Crime, UK - The Independent

 

Apparently if he had just stoved it's head in with a short length of lead pipe he would have been OK but...if he had not killed it with the first blow and had gone back to finish it off that would have been cruelty also.

I was just going to start a thread on this myself, unreal!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

When we first started doing up this house we had a real problem with rats.

 

I caught some in a trap, the first one that I drowned, I watched to see if there was any suffering. IMO there was none, the rat swam slowly round looking for a way out, then a few bubbles came out of its mouth and then it died.

 

I felt relieved that it was not a cruel way to dispose of them and went on to drown all the others I caught.

 

The RSPCA are muppets, IMO, and I will never give them another penny.

I would rather fire a small boiling hot chunk of lead through it's head, a much more honorable death.

P.S. he did not steal it he asked and yes I do think all theft is wrong, but then thats just me.
