Amazing pictures. Bet it was great just gently watching the world go by rather than being part of the rat race. Would love to do it myself. Lucky you!!

screwgate steel krabs yikes!!! ha ha, i bet you kept giving them a little tighten, i would of been happier with some shackles he he. amazing trip david, i bet thats something you will keep with you forever. ref to Tonys comment on the archaeology, i thought it might of been the old drains , what do you reckon?

when I cliped up the basket on the trailer winch at the end, i had a good look at the screwgates. They "looked" ok :001_rolleyes:

 

Thought the ground lines may have been old field boundaries perhaps, & maybe the circles were where live stock may have been tethered on a hitch.

Didn't think they weren't straight enough for land drains. But I have no idea really.

Awesome :thumbup:. And what a perfect day for it. Love the sunset photos - they capture perfectly the beauty of an English summer eve'.

 

every time we drifted over a country pub, I shouted down for them to pour me a Pimms, as I'd be back in half n hour :biggrin:

 

The Champagne goblets in the field after touch down, were well received.

 

Shame it finished so late, as it would of been great to have ended up in an Oxfordshire country boozer for a couple :001_smile:
