I hope you didnt do 144 with all that weight on, dont you get a bit of steering wobble with the weight so far back?

of course we did steering wasnt that bad at all i have a steering dampner. only problem was riding through tunnels the lights were shining into nowhere.

we went to nordkap this time last year thats where the photos were taken. 24hours of sunlight was awsome.

I had a Blackbird and it was brilliant at speed, most I did was 165 mph and bottled it, I put a top box on with hardly any weight in and with that on if you took your hands of the bars it got a right wobble on, bricked myself first time.

 

Did cadwell a couple of times on a cb600 now thats fun and a cracking stress reliever :thumbup:

i have had the r1 upto 173. its been dyno jetted, ignition advancer, velocity stacks, corbin seat. it runs like a dream. if im ever stressed i go out for a couple of hours and by the time im back i have totaly forgotten whatever it was.

i never took my hands off the bar as i was a bit freaked by it all. we were meant to go on a pan euro but it broke down the day we were leaving. we were much cooler on the r1

I like my hondas, just sold my CB1300-SA5

 

im not a suki man but for the magic 200+ an old busa with a few mods. i did have cbr 600fl bomb proof but the pan breakin down tainted my honda view. got a lucky deal on R1. i did have an xt600e thumper which was torque strong
