A week or so ago I called into a stihl dealer to pick up a few bit’s.

Among other things I wanted a spark plug for an 084. The chap behind the counter asked for a sample to match. I didn’t have one but pointed out that all the saws of that vintage were on the same plug and couldn’t he look in the “puter” to get the part number.

 

First he then the shop owner claimed the plugs were all different, followed by the “iv’e bin doin this fer thirty years……” routine.:thumbdown::thumbdown:

 

 

Needless to say I left and went to another dealer who was exactly what you would expect supplying parts and lending tools so I could fix the saw in his car park.

 

I was annoyed by the first dealer and delighted with the second, praise where it is due I emailed Stihl to let them know. I got a reassurance about addressing the poor service and some goodies.

Couldn’t comment as I don’t have a Husky cap to compare but the wife says the Stihl one looks like a beauty spot on a bulldog.:001_huh:

i have 2 stihl dealers near me, atleast 5-8 miles from my home and not happy with the service they provide, maybe if i complain to stihl about both they would send me a shiny new saw:lol:

 

to be honest i class jonesie as my local dealer which is stupid really considering he's about 50miles away

Both the stihl main dealers in Kent arn`t much cop especially if its a small part you want sending out.
