Landrover was not happy today, didn't seem her usual self, so I diagnosed a little fatigue and treatment prescribed was a large dose of waxoil.

Spent hours scraping, wire brushing and power washing, chassis is in good nick

Back is going to be redone at some point soon, it is six years old and falling to bits rust wise, very poor powder coat job.

that looks a lot better Dean, did my tipper last year with the clear stuff, got told the black stuff is harder to spray, what you reccon?

The trick with spraying waxoil is to heat it up first, I filled the paint pot up and held a blowtorch underneath it until it boiled (30 seconds or so) because it boils at a very low temp or just heat the container in a pan of boiling water till it goes really thin like water.

Goes on great. Trouble with the clear stuff is it doesn't hide stuff like black does
