Well the lad has a decent set of bollocks posting pics 4 posts in so respect to that.:thumbup1:

An even bigger ones if he replies:thumbup1:

TBH I've done plenty of jobs like that at customers requests as I would bet that most others have too.

Now I know thats not really the issue but it does happen regularly and will happen in the future so nothing to get too upset about or have a go at the lad for.

Hope you do post back alderwood, all constructive criticism is good criticism.

Thing is you only know its doggy because your in the business. Public looking at that may think thats what they need doing to their tree.

Excellent point mate, i've known many people who were surprised that I recommended their 'reduced' Silver Birch will be prone to failure. When I say 'reduced' read 'cut in half'

i feel realy sorry for the chap.hes obviously well proud of his work otherwise he wouldnt have posted them especially on a site like this where most of us can tell a good job from a bad one.

bet hes had the shock of his life.its a shame now hes probly been put off.a bit more friendly dialogue at the beginning and we may have got a better picture of the situation or maybe not?

My concern is...if the pics that they have posted on their website are of their 'best' reductions I wonder what their 'dodgy' reduction would look like??
